Mogwai for Harvest Festival?

At the end of their set at Splendour In The Grass last month, Mogwai said “see you in November.” My immediate thought was surely they’d be playing Harvest Festival. Now, looking at their dates, it seems that this will indeed be the case- excellent news!

They’re playing in Japan from 23-25 November, with their last show before those dates being in Germany on Nov 5. Harvest is on 12 Nov (Melbourne), 13 Nov (Sydney) and 19 Nov (Brisbane), so it makes perfect sense, with a little time in between Sydney and Brisbane to do some sideshows in Adelaide and Perth.

I’m hoping I’m right about this, as Mogwai were a definite highlight of Splendour this year.
